Feeling Excited!

Well just a little update I had a meeting with the Crear practitioner and he is working on getting me a tutor to do my comprehensive Arts and Science transition program online for the next two or three years then after that’s done I am going to be concentrating on setting everything up to move into St. John’s to do my journalism course and also get my degree I am very thankful to know many people in the media industry without you guys I wouldn’t know where to turn for information I just want to I thank everyone that’s involved for the ongoing support I feel very honoured to have people from my community and fellow journalist supporting my goals it really means a lot I appreciate it. Thank you!

Feeling blessed!

I would like to say thank you to the producers and host of VOCM Nightline Johnathon Richler for taking the time to read my email on air air again February 9, 2017 as you all know over the years I’ve been becoming Will known in the media so I was wondering if anyone took the time out of their busy schedule to listen in ever since I’ve heard the news about the whole 172,118 people losing their status it’s kind of sad so my advice to you would be to keep up the fight you will get there sooner or later!

I would like to take a few minutes to inform everyone as of February 2, 2017 I had a meeting with the career practitioner and he is trying to weigh out different options for me. He is going to try to get me into journalism through Fred Campbell through Grenfell campus if that doesn’t work I’m going to do general studies through Athabaska university until I can figure out my last option I know it’s going to be rough but in a few years I’m going to have to buckle down and move to St. John’s to do journalism at the college anyway wish me luck everyone Because I am certainly going to need it!

This thought has been on my mind for a while now!

Hello everyone, first of all I have a lot to be thankful for I have my current job at the band office currently shredding paper for all the departments. But as you all know that can get very boring after a while. My goal is to become a journalist as you all know I have many close friends of people in the media. Just because I am in a wheelchair doesn’t mean I can’t fulfil my dreams and reach for my goals. I have graduated high school since 2008 I want to be able to attend college to get my degree and get a job with something I will enjoy doing for the rest of my life not sitting in the band office shredding paper that’s not going to get me where I want to be. As you all know this topic came about a few years go when I went out to the band office and spoke to my buddy which is the career practitioner I sat there with him told and told him my idea about starting a community radio station for my community not only for myself but for everyone else including the south coast I started thinking about this project because it would create other options for employment for a few more people from this community like myself who are confined to the wheelchair. Once again I would like to take a few minutes to extend a big thank you to chief and Council for letting me elaborate and explain this idea I look forward to bringing this further thank you!
